|Title||Korean Geostationary Environment Satellite Development Project|
-The Ministry of Environment has been driving the geostationary environment satellite development project investing more than total KW 150 billion from 2012 through 2019 in order to constantly monitor the discharge and migration of climate inducing substances and atmospheric air pollutants (nitrogen dioxide, phosphor dioxide, ozone, formaldehyde, aerosol & etc.) in East Asian & Korean peninsula region.
- This project is a part of composite geostationary satellite, GEO-KOMPSAT-2, development project (Total KW 719.7B) jointly driven by 4 government ministries (Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Oceans & Fisheries, Korea Meteorological Administration).
