The forecast has been made based on data from Korea Meteorological Administration and status of domestic and foreign air pollutant emission sources.
The institute said the fine dust level will not exceed normal range (16∼50㎍/㎥ for PM2.5 and 31∼80㎍/㎥ for PM10) throughout the holiday period.
The density of air pollutants such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide is not expected to rise domestically while Chinese air conditions will not be influential as well.
