Companies with products listed in the trade name annex  (TNA) of the Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances (AICS) have until 9 March to supply details of their chemical constituents.
If the deadline is not met, and any substances in a product are not listed, imports will not be allowed.
Chemical ingredients not in the AICS will be classed as 'new chemicals' and will have to follow the new chemical notification and assessment procedures and incur the relevant fees.
