Turkey is to publish 13 guidance documents by the end of the year to help industry prepare for substance registrations under its new EU REACH-based KKDIK law, a senior official has said.
The Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation has already uploaded two of the documents on its chemicals helpdesk website. The first concerns information on outsourcing of chemicals, and the second is a general guide for registration responsibilities under KKDIK.
The remaining 11 documents will be uploaded in stages until the end of the year, Yahya Kesimal, head of the chemicals department at MoEU, told Chemical Watch.
